HMD Opticians is delighted to announce that Anne Glennie and Teri Carle have become Company Directors, effective immediately.
Founding directors, Alan Macdonald and John Hughes are taking a step back from their director roles but will be continuing to see patients for the next few years.
Anne and Teri, bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the role.
Anne, Optometrist and practice manager of our Banchory practice, qualified 25 years ago. Anne is an experienced optometrist who has been with HMD Opticians for the last 16 years. She enjoys working with children and has a special interest in contact lenses. Anne also qualified as an independent prescriber last year.
Teri has been with HMD Opticians since her time at university, working in our Peterhead practice during the summer months. She then started her pre-registration under Alan’s supervision, qualifying as an Optometrist in 2007. Teri is a qualified independent prescriber and recently undertook a university module in Myopia control. Teri is a Peterhead quine and loves working in her local community, visiting our Turriff practice each week. She also enjoys working with children and sharing her love of optometry with younger generations.
