Halloween has many traditions, we go guising, we dook for apples and we wear extravagant costumes, kids and adults alike. These costumes can include scary or glittery make up, false eyelashes and eye colour changing contact lenses. Here’s some tips to help take care of you eyes this Halloween.

Make-up can be the finishing touch to the perfect costume or could be the answer to a last-minute decision to join in the Halloween fun, whatever the occasion, you need to take care of your eyes.
- Only use preservative free make-up
- Don’t apply make-up inside your eyelash line.
- Try to avoid glitter as it can easily get in your eyes. Especially avoid craft glitter which should never be used as cosmetic glitter

They’re a great accessory, just make sure they fit well, so they don’t block your vision, especially when going out at night.
Halloween Costume Contact Lenses
These costume contact lenses change the colour of your eyes to give you a frightening look. But, buying these lenses online can give your eyes a fright, as poor fitting, or unhygienic lenses can cause issues for your eyes. Contact lenses should only be purchased from a registered optician.
