New Optometrist, Turriff

We are delighted to introduce our new optometrist, Katia Kalcheva who has joined HMD Turriff.

Katia brings over 5 years’ experience to the team and is dedicated to advancing local eye healthcare. Katia is currently undertaking the Independent Prescribing (IP) qualification. This will allow Katia to manage a wider array of eye conditions directly within the practice.

Katia said: “I’m excited to join HMD Opticians and get to know our local patients. I have an interest in all thing’s eyes, from dry eye to contact lenses to checking your eye health and look forward to guiding you to the best solutions to meet your eye health needs!”

When not in the test room, Katia enjoys exploring Scotland, attending gigs and spending time at home with her 2 cats, Percy & Casimir.
